Letting Go ?Letting Go? was written for Scott Tennant, my friend and colleague in the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. We first met playing lute together in USC?s Early Music Ensemble, so I chose lute tuning for this piece (3 to F#). There are also some distinctively Renaissance elements relating to our first musical ensemble experience. But most of the piece is a celebration of the common but glorious I-IV-V progression.
